My Plan

My plan has changed since beginning my journey.  I have learned a thing or two of what works for me, what doesn't, and most importantly, the source of a lot of problems.  After reading the books, Wheat Belly and Wheat Belly Total Health, as well as several others, I discovered that the headaches I have suffered from for about 30 years were caused by wheat sensitivity.  When I stay away from wheat, the headaches stay away.  If I don't, or have some accidental exposure, it can bring on a month-long headache.  I also believe wheat, grains and sugar to be the source of the inflammation that has taken a huge toll on my body.  Pain is a big motivator.  So my journey is one of learning what is healing to my body, which in turns allows my body to let go of the weight.  So I eat wheat-free, mostly grain- and sugar-free, and as a whole, eat low carb.  I am still tweaking the details, but that seems to be what works best for me.
